Hertfordshire's Encounter Research Team (H.E.R.T.) is a non-profit organisation, set up primarily to help those that have had experiences of a paranormal nature. Sometimes these experiences can be extremely unpleasant to those that witness them. Our objective is to provide a solution to the paranormal occurences and we use the latest technology as well as traditional methods to investigate and document paranormal phenomena so that we can further our understanding into the Paranormal world.




We aim to assist in any way we can and we will often use Scientific, medical and paranormal experts to help if required on any case, this is usually to help rule out any Physiological or Psychological factors and is done for the well being and protection of the witness/es. We also carry out historical research. Our main aim is to give support and guidance to the witness/es of the phenomena and we will do this sympathetically and without judgment. We will also work within a witnesses religious or cultural beliefs.




We give priority to severe cases and witnesses will undergo telephone interviews before an investigation commences.




Please note that a witnesses confidentiality is of the utmost importance and all cases will be investigated as discreetly as possible and any witness objecting to their case being publicised will be guaranteed their anonymity.
