hey, I am a proud mom, new grandmom and wife who has a taste for the dark side. Family is very important to me. I am close with my parents. I love to travel! I can't wait to get back to Texas. I can not stand people who are fake and who lie. judgmental people can f__k off. anyone who thinks they are better then the next person is very delusional. there is only one higher being and that is God. Anything else you wanna know.... just ask. i think you will find me very honest and funny. and i do no take shit from anyone. i have my moments like everyone else. however i do have a sweet and adorable side.... you just have to find it.

We are a proud military family! May God bless my baby brother Staff Sgt. Richard Erickson who has just returned from Iraq.
Thank You Dear Lorde, For his safe return!

Dedicated to soldiers and their loved ones For those who have laid in fox holes,carried guns,marched for hours. For those who have had cold sleepless nights,endless days of discomfort. For those who have endured the agony of war for my sake. Thank you. For those who have gently kissed a loved one goodbye, and with a tear looked back for a last time, For those who have found courage to carry the sword of liberty. For those who have flown with the eagle. For those who have landed on foreign soil. Taking freedom to other countries while keeping freedom in ours, Thank you. For those who have lost limbs,lives and loved ones. For those who have lost friends,sisters ,brothers,mothers and fathers, For those who have sacrificed and gave their all for freedom's sake. Thank you. For those who have found the courage to stand, For those who have reached out a hand for their fallen comrade. For those who give freedom to strangers ,and a hope for peace. For those who sacrifice all they love, and pay the price for freedom.

BLACK CAT HALLOWEENThe origin of Halloween lies in the traditions of the Celtic people.  The Celts believed that the veil between this world and the next was thinnest during this time of year. Friends and relatives who had died would often return, with their souls inhabiting an animal, often a black cat. Black cats have remained a symbol of Halloween down to the present time.

 Hope you have a great week.  Karla

"When the trees their summer splendor
Change to raiment red and gold,
When the summer moon turns mellow,
And the nights are getting cold;
When the squirrels hide their acorns,
And the woodchucks disappear;
Then we know that it is autumn,
Loveliest season of the year."

-   Carol L. Riser, Autumn

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

When we are afraid we ought not to occupy ourselves with endeavoring to prove that there is no danger, but in strengthening ourselves to go on in spite of the danger. ~Mark Rutherford

I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
