I've always been intrigued by the paranormal. Growing up in the Fifties, we were told that there was "no such thing." I never could accept that. I knew there was something out there, more than we could see.

My travels into historic areas are for photography, not ghosts. But, it seems to go with the territory. I don't look for them, they find me.

Territory covered reads like a resume ... Myrtles Plantation, Tombstone AZ, Whaley House in San Diego, Charleston, Savannah, and many Civil War battlefields most notably Shiloh and Vicksburg.

I'm not an investigator. I'm not out to prove anything. I know they're there. I'm not out to write a book or host a TV show. In an encounter, there's two ways to go. If they are lost, traumatized human spirits, I attempt to counsel them to move on. If they're the NON-human trouble makers ... kick 'em out.

I enjoy visiting historical sites, because, I can "feel" it. There are moments I feel I can almost touch the past. It's a rush.

Also, I am fascinated with PREHISTORY... EARLY Earth. What REALLY went on? Advanced civilizations...giants...

IAH Profiles that are hard to read because of the background!!

photography, golf, American History, reenactments, road trips, cruisin' the IAH profiles and photo galleries. Yes, I am an IAH-oholic.

Hey, rascal.  Hope you are having a great week so far.  Hot here, but at least the humidity is staying down.

Hey, there,.  I am leaving IAH soon for a while.  Things have come up in my life that I need to tend to.  It's been hectic around my house, and it seems to only be getting worse.   I've let a lot of people down, including myself,  and it's time I regroupred fox sad bye and move forward.   I hope to talk to you when I get this mess straightened out.   Best wishes to you always.  Karla

Hey, thanks for stopping. Yeah, I've heard of these really great detours that take hours when you're going like 15 minutes away! Hopefully your trip wasn't too far off the beaten path, but with your wonderful attitude, you probably took in the sights and made it fun.  I got in to Iowa City today after weeks of not, and was looking out over the bridge at the college buildings there that had it up 6 feet inside and went, holy cow...that's unreal how far things really had to come up.  Unreal!  But now less water and many sandbags is what's remaining.  Hope you're liking your new job? Hugs! :) Chas
