Dark Knight
Posted On 07/20/2008 11:59:47
Went to see Dark Knight movie saturday night with a couple of friends. I was really impressed, I liked Ledgers portrayal of the Joker. I keep hearing comparisons to Nicholson(sp?) version of the joker. Can you compare the two? I dont think so, Nicholsons version was cartoonish and great. Ledgers' joker was crazy and sinister and IMHO I thought he did a great job. (I believe the first Batman movies were based on the Batman TV show and The new Batman sticks closer to the comicbook)
I liked the movie I thought it has been the best one yet. The reason I liked it was because I used to read the comic book so that one is gonna stick for me. Tim Burton(director who nearly ruined the other Batman movies) did a wonderfull job on cinematics. He did a horrible job on the rest of the movies, by making the caracters cartoonish, and picking George Clooney as The Batman, that guy was the worst Batman ever. Burton came right out and said anyone that knows me knows I never read comics(which is obvious from the other Batman movies)
Anyway I thought it lived up to the hype IMHO and woth a watch, may be a little scary for kids under 10 overall a great flick

Thanks for all the feedback. I wanted a more informed opinion.  Dont get me wrong I shorteded what happened on the show.  The team did do a walk through contacted many spirits and the non-human came out and shooed them away and scared the crap out of the sensitives.  The did a cleansing ritual and placed a circle of salt (which is pagan/wiccan I believe)  I do realized that this show they dramatize everything to the nth degree.  I understand Mr Deels point that if a demon wants to manifest it doesnt need any help from us much less a little board.  I just dont understand why they did that ouija board thing.  I realize that the spirits are already there but wouldnt that be like trying to put out a fire but throwing gas on it?  Inviting/pulling more spirits close?  The family failed to mention that they found a pentagram and candles etc in one of the rooms also (before said family moved in) They did mention it after the fact though. Well anyway I realize this probably isnt a blog but I just wanted a few opinions on the subject.  Thanks for welcoming me in the IAH circle

Ouija
Posted On 04/09/2008 09:02:34

I was watching one of my favorite shows A Haunting which is on in the afternoons.  I work nights so I record it on my DVR.  Well i was sitting there watching, this one was based in Arkansas.  The house had a spirit of a little boy among others one spirit was a non-human.  Well the family contacts a paranormal research team. The team does the walk through and tells the family you have this and this and this evil spirit; we would like to contact it and whipped out a ouija board!!!

I am not an investagtor or an expert by no means.  Every place I have ever been on or looked stuff up says that these boards can be bad news....ecspecially with a non-human in the area.  I was floored when they did this anyone out there heard of this before?

Wasn't that a bad thing to do?  Or am I wrong and these ouija boards not as bad as I have heard?
