E.V.P.S. Turns out For National Paranormal Clean Up Month
Posted On 06/04/2007 02:24:41

East Valley Paranormal Society did their part in the National Paranormal Clean Up month.

We went to our favorite cemetery to do a general good clean up of the place. Pinal Cemetery is a very old abandoned cemetery in Superior, AZ. The only folks that really visit there are Superior locals and the ghost hunting groups. Pinal Cemetery's claim to fame is that Mattie Earp is buried there.

We picked up trash, busted bottles, old tin cans, bullet casings, and did some tree/bush trimming and trimmed the cactus around some of the grave sites that were almost over run with the stuff. We also racked around the graves, and placed new/more rocks on them to better mark the grave sites. We had intentions of placing new crosses on the graves---but the wood we had picked up was really dry and the paint was just soaked up so it didnt even look like we painted it. We'll be making the new crosses at our July meeting and then heading up to place them on the grave sites. Some of our guys also mapped out the cemetery as there is no real viable information as to where people are buried, let alone who all is buried there.

You are welcome to visit our webpage to see photos of our efforts.

Thanks,

Kim Mann

I'm usually rather quiet on here, but I thought I'd let you all know that we just had an interview with one of our local papers here, and they did a really good job on it. I'm impressed on how nice it turned out.

If you get a chance, here's the link to the story and there is also a short video there as well.

We did this in preparation for the National Paranormal Clean Up. My question regarding that is: who's idea was it to make it in June?? Do you all realize how hot it is here in AZ?? We've got our clean up scheduled for this coming Saturday--but it's supposed to be 105 outside! Egads!! But we'll still be out doing our part.

Was wondering if there had been any news or an update on Donna LaCroiux from TAPS? We all have sent prayers her way & I'd been asked today if there was any news. So thought I'd ask.

 Thanx,

Kim Mann
