Today, I had a wonderful surprise. I won a trip to Las Vegas. But, that wasn't the biggest surprise. When I got to my home, I turned on my cell phone, and the first thing I see was "Omi" (my mom's contact name on my phone. )The date: today, the Time: The exact time I turned on the phone. First, it shocked me, then I decided to call the number back. I got nothing. It dialed out, after 5 seconds it disconnected. No "I'm sorry but the number you dialed cannot be reached". Or "The number you dialed is in no longer in service." Just NOTHING... Dead air. The phone service has been turned off since my mom's death in April.

I'm wondering if it was my mom contacting me to congratulate me on my win. What do you think?

When I was young, I had psychic abilities. I saw spirits, and could also would have times of precognition. I lost most of it in my teen years. Is there a way to recapture those abilities?

Ohhh, this is not good for someone who doesn't deal well with changes. I go away for a week to concentrate on my book, I come back, and I'm not sure where I am. The other one was much simplier. I'm a simple person, so simple works best for me. I guess I'll get used to this, but WHY must there always be changes? Part of life I guess.

But I do appreciate the work that is going into trying to make this a better place.

Just a random thought about spirits. Has anyone thought about this. If you are trying to get a specific person (in spirit form) to appear by collecting some of their treasured items and putting them all in one place? Rather then wandering around the house looking for the spirits, see if you can bring the spirit to you. Put all the persons favorite items into the room they stayed in most. Example: For an elderly female bring to her favorite chair her wedding ring, necklace, knitting needles, hair brush, blanket, pillow, . You get the picture, bring the things she handled the most. Wouldn't that work?

To all the children out there, please make it a point to call your father this father's day. You never know what the future holds. This may be his last Father's Day. Please remember, regardless if you had a loving father, or a father who treated you unfairly, he did the best the could. Call him, tell him you love him. Life is too short.

Does anyone think that what one's personality is like in life  affects whether or not one becomes a spirit in death? I'm wondering if people who are introverts, who are shy, and fearful of people don't become ghosts because they would rather not be around the living after death? Could it be more likely that those who sought out companionship in life would seek it out after death?

I know its hard for me to make friend. I don't avoid people, but I don't go out of my way to meet people either and when I do meet someone, I have no idea how to make a friendship grow. I've never learned how to make friends, and I think that goes back to having to move around so much as a child. What's the sense in making a friend when they will just move once you know them well.

I guess I won't come back as a ghost if my theory is right.

I'm wondering why I recall dreams at the oddest times. Today I was getting some water and all of a sudden I have an image of a dream I had long ago. I know its a dream, because its one of the recurring themes. I wasn't  tired  (no more then usual after work) so it wasn't as if I was "nodding off". I do this dream recall thing all the time. Its usually just as snippet, maybe 10 to 15 seconds long. Never the same dream either. It even happens at work. Does anyone else ever have this happen? Any idea what it could be?
