As some might know my 16 year old daughter has the gift of not only seeing spirits (or ghosts) but the gift of speaking to them. this past Wednesday she came in from school and told me about a dream that she had the night before. When she was explaining it to me to I was surprised as she told me someone at her school was going to be shot. I had watched the news while my kids were at school and thought maybe she was dreaming about the shooting at Western kentucky University. boy do i wish that was the case. Alittle later I had asked her is she knew a kid named Aaron from her school. She told me yes and asked why? I said one of the kids had RIP Aaron on their myspace headline. well she freaked alittle while she made a few phone calls. She finally got the anwser as to what happened to him and come to find out he had committed suicide by shooting himself. She is taking the death very hard as we attended his memorial service yesterday and she just didn't understand it. Was her dream his way of telling her he was going or just a premonition of what was to come. Either way you look at it she not only has to deal with the "why didn't he call and talk to me if things were bad?" but also the fact she knew something was going to happen. I just wonder if there is anyone out there who might have experienced this type of thing and if they can hel me to help her understand that she could not stop fate.
