Portland Investigation
DATE: 06/12/2008 22:30:46 / MOOD: magical
Hello friends, Now that I am in Portland, OR, I am starting up an investigation team. Haunted Hoax in the northwest is looking for members. We follow the guidelines set forth by TAPS and focus mainly on debunking in the hopes of capturing pure evidence that can only be labeled as paranormal. I am currently putting together an investigation of the Shanghai Tunnels below the streets of Portland with two investigators-in-training. I would like to have one other seasoned investigator to come along. Send me a message if you would like to join my team and/or hunt for ghosts in the tunnels. Stay haunted, ~patrick

Friends, please help me out here.
DATE: 04/30/2008 19:02:48 / MOOD: justified
Hello friends, Controversy is no stranger when discussing the paranormal, and my new show, Haunted Hoax has stirred up a fair share with a few individuals in Ohio and England. They accuse me of being a "hater," but if you know me even a little, you know that is so far from the truth. That's like saying I hate roses because they have thorns. So I ask two things of you in hopes of calming me after the never-ending email exchange with these two "gentlemen" and "paranormal EXPERTS." The first, if you have a moment, please leave positive mojo in the form of a comment to my shows on YouTube. The second, I will be putting together a show about orbs in the coming month, but all he orbs I have ever come across during an investigation could be explained away. I need examples of real orbs -- balls of energy with their own light source and independent movement that can be linked to paranormal activity and can not be in the slightest way thrown in the file folder of dust, insect, light flare, or moisture. Thank you all for spreading the love and good energy. ~patrick

Hello friends,
The first two, ten-minute-long episodes of HAUNTED HOAX, and a short “RANTS & GRAVES” about orbs are now available on the web. When you have a moment, I invite you to give Haunted Hoax a watch and let me know what you think. I’m open to topic suggestions and hoax challenges (just send me the link to the photo or video). The web address below will take you to the Haunted Hoax channel on YouTube where you’ll find all the episodes. I hope you enjoy and share the program with your friends. There’s more to come.
Thank you all for your input and support. ~patrick

*Here’s the write up on the program.
HAUNTED HOAX is the first paranormal show of its kind, exposing the fakes, which claim to be real and offering possible explanations to more creditable evidence.
Host, author Patrick H.T. Doyle, explores historic and haunted sites while examining video and photographic evidence posted for the public — from opening doors and picture frames that move to ghostly figures captured on film. Patrick stages reenactments and demonstrates how a large percentage of evidence can be fabricated with just a simple digital camera and everyday items.
This is a show for paranormal researchers and anyone who has ever questioned the authenticity of a video or photo labeled as “Haunted” and presented as truth. It’s a “Guide to Evaluating Evidence” that hopes to decontaminate the evidence pool and move the field of paranormal research forward. Each episode will educate and entertain while you learn the tricks some could use to create a HAUNTED HOAX.

Hello friends, I have to break a way for a while and concentrate on the book I'm writing. Now, I love you all and the time I spend here on IAH, but my publisher has cracked the whip. I have a deadline to meet, but I will sneak away from time to time to check in (that's between you and me), so please leave me messages and don't think I'm being an ass if I don't get back right away. I'll talk with each of you soon. Stay haunted! ~patrick

A chance to say goodbye in a dream.
DATE: 07/06/2007 13:27:26 / MOOD: full of life
On July 3rd the world lost Edmund Walshe to pancreatic cancer. He
was one of the most generous, fun-loving, and truly good souls to have
ever graced this Earth. I was lucky to know him as a friend and he will
be missed by me and so many others who were infected by his smile and
ways.
For one reason or another Edmund, our wives and I hadn't gotten
together like we talked about for over a year. Sure, we got together in
groups at the local pub for drinks and a look at the game, but nothing
one on one. That was my one regret.
But last night (Thursday into Friday) I had a dream as real as the day
is as I write this now. I could smell the air and feel the chill of the
breeze. In the dream Edmund sat beside me and said "I just wanted to
stop by and say goodbye." He shook my hand - it was warm. He kissed my
cheek - I could feel the stubble of his beard. I told him that I'll
miss him and that I loved him. He responded by saying, "Then you'll be
at my service?" and smiled "I'm pretty sure I'll be there." That was
his humor. I shook Edmund's hand once more and then woke up. When I did
I felt... good. It was like a weight had been lifted and there was no
reason to be sad.
I share this with you because I've had these visits in the past from
relatives who passed on. I truly believe they are visits from our loved
ones who know they can speak to us when we're more intuned to listen --
in our subconscious sleep. And I'm sure a man like Edmund had many
people to visit. That's why it took him three days to get to me.
Rest well friend. "Of all the people in all the world."

Haunt the Fakersville Power Station with Edgar Font
DATE: 07/02/2007 10:45:15 / MOOD: haunted
Hello Adventures,
NOTE: I apologize for sending this message out a second time, but if don't Edgar will haunt me all night. I'll be sending it once more later. Ignore it like I ignore Edgar's antics on certain days if you must, and thanks to those of you who have forwarded it to friends I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet. Have a haunted 4th of July Week!
Adventure Two: The Fakersville Power Station is here! It and Adventure One: The Castle Tower Lighthouse are available at your favorite bookseller. If you don't see it on the shelf, ask someone behind the desk. They'll know where to find it.
Thank you all for your continued support. Your friend and storyteller, patrick
