I read on another group's blog on another website about an apparent spirit using one of their investigator's cell phone to answer a question that was asked. He was doing EVP work and asked the spirit's name. A few minutes later, this investigator's girlfriend calls and asks why he had sent her a text message with "*name with held* is my name"? "Who is that?" He told her that he didn't send her any message and that he was in the middle of an investigation. I'm sure that he didn't take a thought about following up with the text message and ask the girl if that was her ? Did she send a message?

Another instance, an investigator was at a famous haunted place doing some EVP work when a friend received a text message from the investigator. It was, mostly, gibberish. The friend calls the investigator and tells him his text message didn't come out right. The investigator told his friend that he didn't send anything and the he was at this place investigating. Weird.

Has anyone else had similar experiences? Our group has not. But, we are going to try this out on our next investigation.
