Whispers Estate a place I have wanted to go for a while is now closed to ghost hunting. I just heard on Ghostly Talk and then went to there site said closed no more were done goodbye.

Why did all this happen because of one group that destroyed it for the rest of us. How many times has this happened where great locations and opportunity for research is destroyed by disrespectful groups. You cant really blame the owners of Whispers if someone came into my home and was disrespectful I would do the same thing.

There is a reson I am an independant researcher not with a group for that reason. I have been blessed enough to work with different goups and meet many wonderful people from IAH that has been a great learning and fun time.

But when you get a group that due that and make the rest of us look bad I frickin loose my mind.

So shout out and tell me what would you do if this happened to you.

Morning my IAH Brothers and Sisters

Yesterday I wrote about the theroy that those in the spirit realm were blocking/disrupting the power in our hand held equipment rather then draining the power. And I want to thank you for your response.

I espically want to thank Alan for sharing the theroy in the first place. That's what I love about this site sharing new ideas and getting great feed back from those you have come to know and respect in our field.

Having said that now that we have identified the cause we can try and find a way to sheild our equipment form this problem and Glider aka Steve said he had an idea on that and I cant wait to hear it.

So I just wanted to say thanks to Steve and Alan for all there help on this.

Mr Hatt is in a strange mood today my fellow IAH People.

And I have been kind of stewing over something for the last few days. So what better place to get answers than here.

Now we all know that the spirits are energy yes? And it is widely accepted that when a spirit is trying to manifest itself it draws energy from it sourndings ie: the bateries in our equipment and I always found that to be to convienant of an answer.

 Why if something is made of energy would it require more energy?

And then I thought to myself well maybe they are atracted to high energy fields like power transformers and such makes sense dont it. But then why do are bateries drain in these places as well? Are those that have passed on trying to stop us from gathering proff of there being there?

Are they shy?

Or is it by the the time they have gathered enough energy that our equipment is dead and we dont have the power to get the proff we need to show the world?

But then why do are batteries that were just drained in a room that was just hopping with activity and unable to record any of said activity able to come back to life once we leave that room?

God's own little prank?

 Could he be doing to the Paranormal Investigator what he did to Darwin with the Pladapus and going here explain this one?

I mean once a batterie is drained of all power how can it magicaly re-charge itself in the matter of a few short moments? Hmmm I bet the people of Duracell dont like that. But wait there must be something we are missing that may be able to explain what is happeneing?

I wonder what it could be? We also know a spirit is near by not only when our equipment mysteriously malfunctions but also by oh what could it be...........oh yea a strange EMF reading we can follow them from that random EMF field that suddenly appers from no where cant we. 

But wait doesent EMF stand for Electro Magnatic Field?

And doesnt that have a natural ablity to disrupt the normal function of all electronic equipment? I think it does. And is any of the Paranormal Investigators equipment designed to protect that equipment from a high EMF wave?

I'm sorry for what ever reason I couldnt help writing this blog this way. Sometimes I just need to amuse my self.

Well I think and I am not 100% on this but Alan wrote a blog a while back on that batts werent drained but being disrupted by the EMF field itself and when the field is gone the Batts come back to normal.

And that makes alot more sense to me then they are draing the power the need to manifest and then you get it back when there done.

So what do you think?

Are the sprits of those long since gone Draing power or merely Disrupting power?

Today is a very strange day for me.

I cant seem to shake this feeling I have that something bad is gona happen today. Now everyone who knows me knows I am about as sensitive as rock(just ask misses Hatt)

But from the moment I woke up this morning I have had the feeling like I should just stay in bed and hide from the day. Now its not fear I feel it's something else that I cant just put my finger on. And right now it is starting to tick me off so I think I am writing this as a kind of get over it and get back to work kind of thing so please forgive me.

I seem to be focusing on something that happened a while a go and for the life of me I dont know why.

It's kind of like your supposed to have done something that you didnt and it is gonna come and bite you in the butt. Only my big dumb kester cant seem to focus on anything long enough to figure out what it is.

Dont you just hate days like this it's like getting a song in your head and no matter what you do you cant stop singing it.

So as to not make this a complete waste of time that I just stole from your life while you read this.

When was the last time things just didnt feel right for you and what happened?

Last night the Chicago area in which I live got slamed by a great set of storms I posted some pics of it. So my question is this if it's true that Thunder Storms can amp up the activity in a location.

Did anyone here in Illinois go on an investigation/hunt last night and did you get better results because of a storm?

I have never hunted in those type of conditions to see if there was an increase in activity has anyone ever expiranced this?
