Today's Halloween ghosts are often depicted as more fearsome and malevolent, and our customs and superstitions are scarier too. We avoid crossing paths with black cats, afraid that they might bring us bad luck. This idea has its roots in the Middle Ages, when many people believed that witches avoided detection by turning themselves into cats.
Hope you are doing okay. I've been busy. Spent a week in California with my brother-in-law, and his mom. Things went well. Traveled to Camp Pendleton, and Luke AFB near Phoenix. FUN! But...it was way too hot. I actually got heat sickness Tuesday night. Hope all is good with you. I'm in Norton, VA Saturday to visit family, and then staying for a few weeks
