Mind Blogging? or Mind Boggling
Posted On 05/28/2008 11:05:27

Writing a book?  That is my intentions. First I wanted to write about my paranormal experiences and how I got to be the person that I am today. Then I joined PRISM and decided I needed to write a book on our awesome team and the experiences we have encountered and the evidence we have collected. Then, throughout the years I have collected stories from friends and colleages about paranormal experiences whether it be ghosts, voices, angels, evidence of reincarnation etc, So where should I start?  The people who have come into my life as a result of my interest in the pararnormal is phenomenal and have all been the reason I research and LOVE this field so.

See? I told ya.. my mind is boggled so i mind blogged ;)

Just needed to write those thoughts down.

The Queen Mary
Posted On 04/22/2008 09:05:20

alas, i get a moment to talk about our adventure on the Queen Mary. A couple of weeks ago my daughter and her 2 best friends flew in to Las Vegas and we drove to Long Beach. It was my daughters 20th birthday present to fly for the first time and they all wanted to visit the Queen Mary. Well isnt that every ghost hunters dream? I know it has been mine but though my daughter investigates with me and her friend ash likes to on occasion I wasn't sure about Bri. But ... hey thay wanted to so who was I to say no? LOL.

It was a beautiful warm April morning, about 75 degrees when we arrived at the Ship. We were way early in our excitement to get there. So we roamed around the grounds and took pics for about an hour before we were able to board the Queen. This is the first time i was ever on a ship so to be on something so Majestic, all i can say is WOW. We bought the tickets that you can do you self guided tour, then a haunted tour later then the ghosts and legends which they have spooky affects. So we started our self guided tour and ended up down in the engine room. This place is huge and quite overwhelming and I felt quite a bit of energy. GIving to the fact that we were below the water i thought that might have something to do with it. However, I decided to follow the energy and i wandered off from the girls. THey were fine, they were reading stuff and really checking things over and i am not real sure howlong I was gone before they realized it. I mosied around and came back around the corner and there they were all standing in a huddle and they looked at me, ( now i know you would have had to been there but i about piddled in my pants i laughed so hard) THey all came rushing at me, Ash with her finger pointed at me saying :" ANNEY DONT YOU EVER" ( at that point bri stepped on ash's shoe and ash steppedright on out of it but never missed a step" :LEAVE US ALONE AGAIN!" Jada is sayin " MOMMY U LEFT US ALONE ON A HAUNTED SHIP< HOW COULD YOU" Bri threatened to put a leash on me LOL.

It was a fun day,I dont think i got anything in my pictures. We havent been through all of them yet. My camera died, Got the white screen of death. It was where the images wouldnt show up. you could click hte camera but u couldnt see what u were trying to take a pic of. I changed batteries. I thought maybe memory card, so i put the one in that it came with because its never been used and still WHITE SCREEN. Frustrating ( this was before all the tours)  Thank goodness the girls all had cameras.

I hada been thinkinga bout getting a new camera anyway but I really didnt want to get one then. SO.... i got back to Nebraska, bought myself a new camera. had it out and was playin with it ,,, when i had some friends over and i went ot show them my white screen of death on my old camera and guess what? IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!

Oatman Arizona
Posted On 03/22/2008 22:19:25

Sitting here enjoyin my evening off, and thought oh my, I haven't blogged any of my adventures yet since I have been in Arizona.

I made the half hour trek one January afternoon, needing just a light sweatshirt.  Made my way to the famed Ghost Town of Oatman, Arizona. Now Oatman is an old mining town right on route 66. The locals have made this little town a lil shoppers heaven, you can buy tshirts, sweatshirts, jackets that are very reasonable. My favorite is the minerals store where you can buy crystals etc, and then there is the home made Indian jewelry. Very pretty and reasonably priced.

I didn't go there for the shopping however. I went for the Ghosts. So I made my way to the Oatman Hotel. This is a very old dilapitated hotel that you can no longer stay there because of health and safety codes, but for a mere donation you can walk up the steps, and step back into another time.  Up the steps is the famed room that Clark Gable and Carol Lombardi stayed in on there honeymoon.  Ok, but where are the ghosts? I mosied my way to the bar and ordered me up a beer and a Axe and Pick ( i think its what it was called) a very good hamburger with mushrooms along with some Burro Ears. ( baked potato chips). I happend to sit next to a local and I glanced up at a postcard that advertised the ghosts in the hotel so I asked? Is this place really haunted?  The gentleman replied. " well, before they had to  close down I lived up there by myself for 8 months, and things happened." Of course by now I am all ears. ( just like them burro's) He went on to tell me that doors would open and close by themselves, could hear foot steps at night and knows he was alone, and the faucets to the sinks would turn on and off by themelves." Now thats my kinda place to live. HAHA!

I wanted to find the Oatman cemetary but it is on private property and the owner won't let anyone up there alone because of all the mines, its too dangerous, then gentleman I visited with about the cemetary said he would try and get me  private tour. Wish me luck!!

Chicago

A few members of PRISM was honored to attend and exhibit at the 1st Annual Chicago Ghost Conference hosted by Urusla Bielski and Michael McDowel! It was our first conference and we were very impressed. They did a great job putting it all together. It was wonderful meeting the other teams and learning from them. I hope we were able to bring something to the table also. The paranormal world is very exciting and to meet others as passionate about it as PRISM was exhilirating. I encourage all to attend a conference if given the chance. It is well worth it. Its wonderful meeting more of our Paranormal family. As Sallie Rhine-Feather said. " This is just like a family reunion"

From the Desk of IAH:
I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
