Bad spirits and I'm not talking about the alcoholic kind. First I'm glad to be back on the site! Now my wife and I took a vacation to Gettysburg PA. and had the best time there, A friend of mine came from Harrisburg PA. and we went to Sachs bridge and the battle field to Devils Den and little round top then behind the den we walked into the triangerlar field to do some investigating, it was grate. My wife and I went on a ghost walk and the next night I went on another into the basement of the old childrens orfanage. 5 days of grate vacation. we got home....the air conditioner went out in our car....my hard-drive on the computer crashed...the tire came off rim of my truck....there's leak in the water pipe in the basement....and the cutter housing busted on my riding mower!!!!! I CAN"T wait to see what happens next! anyway I'm dealing with it one thing at a time. And I'm very positive about everything, we try very hard not to let negative things get us down! and I try to be very respectfull 99% of the time when I'm investigating. But you have to wander did I piss someone off (spirit) while I was at Gettysburg? Who Knows! Have a grate day.

The story I posted was from a friend’s experience who said that he got skunked; On the other hand I did not! I did get a lot of EVPs one says “I am Angry”, “But why”, “No thank you” and more. And I am the one who walked by the janitor on the first floor! And thought he was in our group. On the third floor about hafe way down  our group of 9 people were standing in the middle of the hall watching for shadow people, I was in the back of the group and behind me down the other end of the hall out of the blackness I heard a little girls voice say “hi” I turned to my friend Ralph and ask “did you hear that” he said he heard people talking out side, I did to, but very faintly, What I heard was very plan and behind me down the hall not out side, a few minutes passed and I heard it again “hi” by that time the group was walking around talking just as they did she said on my recorder “I believe I can go right now” or something to that affect! So even though I did not experience as much as I wanted to I got quite a bit I found out. And I will be going back. Poor Ralph just had a bad night of getting anything. And no, the Mattingly’s who own Waverly are sincere in preserving the building, There's no Fake to this place!

Hello, I'm Ralph and I think I am the only person in history to get skunked at Waverly Hills. I was there this past March 23rd with the Taps guys and I didn't get anything on Video, or Audio and nothing but dust orbs on Still pictures bummer. But atleast I had fun and met some nice people from Louisville and Tenn. There was alot going on just not where I was, except that time when I was like a second or so from seeing my first apparition LOL. I just didn't turn my head in time to observe it. I will explain. I was with a group of 9 people and a Team leader named Matt from The Spooky Southcoast group. We were on the first floor of Waverly where all the administration and gift shop and such rooms are. We were all heading back to a meeting point down the hallway in the middle of the building. Matt was counting heads at the time and most of the group were back at the meeting point ,except me and another man named (Rick )were stragglers. So he is counting heads and he sees me coming to the point and says 8 and then he sees the other man Rick behind me and says 9. Then as he is counting I am facing towards Matt not looking behind me when he counted 9 for Rick. As I am looking at Matt he then says 10 at that time when he said 10 I should have looked down the Hallway behind me. Because as he counted 10 there was another man going from a room down the hallway across to another room behind Rick as he was walking back to the point. So then I see Matt and another guide go running down the hallway to see who this tenth person was. They get there with their flashlight and nothing was in the room it was empty. So I just missed seeing the Ghost of the Janitor that is seen on the first floor at Waverly. Also Rick said he saw this figure go past him and he thought it was me ,but I was already down the hallway at the meeting point. He said it just walked by him. My luck LOL. Oh well to top that off Brian of TAPS was on the 3rd floor with a woman behind him from his group and they were headed I guess down the stairwell to the second floor. When all of a sudden this big black shadow person they call " Big Blackie " comes flying up the stairs right in front of Brian and stops then flys over his head and the woman behind him sees this big black thing fly over Brian's head then her head and takes off. Okay in the meantime I am trying to get something to no avail. Then I come to find out that on the 5th floor at the time I was fumbling around, that another Team leader and his small group sees a little girl standing in a corner looking at them with a long White Dress on and she had no eyes and then just faded away. So I am thinking man all of this happening and I am at one of the most Haunted Places on Earth and get skunked. Oh well that's my luck I guess LOL. I shouldn't complain though I did get 8 EVP's at The Eastern State Penn in Phila. with the TAPS guys in Feb. Oh well, that's my experience with Waverly Hills Sanatarium. I came close to seeing my first apparition. Matt and Rick did say it looked solid like a real person. Just that real people don't vanish into thin air LOL. That's my story.
