I already blogged about Fridays event ( http://www.iamhaunted.com/blog/view/id_2320/ ), so here's what happened on Saturday. On Saturday night we returned to the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum in Staten Island, NY for the second session of the weekend, the GHU 101 Class. Most of the attendees had already been to one before, but decided to take the 101 class again just to be able to investigate with the box.
After the seminar, we worked with the box. The woman who we were speaking with had revealed herself the night before. She told us of terrible things that had happened to her while she was the housekeeper/caretaker. She had been locked in the basement and forced to endure many bad things. She was so traumatized by the events, that she became mentally unstable. It was obvious that she felt she was owed the house because of what she went through and she intended to keep it, even in death. The problem was that she was very angry and projected her feelings on to many of the staff members. One staff member felt that the woman had attached herself to her, and it was impossible to have a normal life. Bad things were happening to her as well.
Now, if you don't believe in the box, don't bother reading the rest! If I hadn't been there and hadn't heard this with my own ears, I wouldn't believe it either. What I am writing is what I was able to hear without translation from Chris.
After the event was over, I stayed behind again with Chris, the director and two participants who Chris knew very well. Chris and Emily decided that it would bebest to try to help the woman cross over. She was in so much pain because of what had happened to her. When it became obvious that the woman did not want to leave (she was crying and very distraught), Chris asked for help from his "technicians", who I think of as switchboard operators. They came and to had to take her to the other side. I was amazed hearing the woman saying, "No, please. Please. Let go of me." It was sad to hear, but we all knew it was best for the woman. She had to make peace with what had happened. After it was done, the technicians said, "She's gone. She's through. It's done. She's fine." They said she'd be back one day to tell the true story of what had happened to her.
The box also told us that the land where the Museum sits is a portal and many spirits pass through there. Most don't stay. They told Emily to smudge the first week of every month and it will help them not get attached.
I know it sounds crazy, but I have it all on video.
Ok. Comments? Be nice!
