I recently took a trip to Alton, Ill with a couple of friends of mine.  I have always heard that it was "The Most Haunted Small Town in The Country."  I ended up having to schedule a private tour, as this was in February, before the tour season started.  I was charged $40 per person.  The lady who did the tour (this was not the Troy Taylor tour, unfortunately, as I am sure that would have been worth my while) had originally told me that that she would be driving us around to all of the haunted locations in town.  When she showed up (15 minutes late, I might add) she insisted that I drive my vehicle and she just ride with us.  Mind you, all three of us were smokers, and she also told us that we could not smoke in our own vehicle during the tour.  She took us all over town, telling us all kinds of crazy stories about 20 or more houses.  We only got out of the car once, at a Confederate Cemetery.  She completely skipped over the McPike Mansion, which is the most famously haunted place in Alton and opted to show us the ugliest house in town instead.  So, now I am out $40 a person (no discount for driving ourselves) and also a tank of gas that I should not have had to use.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't been around in a while, becasue I FINALLY had my baby!

Sophie Evelyn was born October 11 at 2:43pm.  She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. 

I have been busy doing the mommy thing, so I haven't gotten a chance to answer emails or comment anyone back and I do appologize.

that I have had a few people delete me from their friends list, and I am pretty sure I know why and it's my own fault. 

 I haven't been able to reply much to anyone's comments for a while, and for that I sincerely appologize. 

I've been working roughly 60 hours a week for the last month, shooting senior pictures (I'm a photographer, in case you guys didn't know that), and I pretty well just get on here to check my messages when I get home in the evening, and then fall down on the couch and typically pass out.

Unfortunately, I still have to deal with the fact that I am also six months pregnant and am extremely tired from that as well.  Life hates me sometimes.

So, basically, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has commented me.  It truely does make my day.  Once the summer is over and I go back to a regulr 30-40 hour work week, I will have more time to comment people back and all of that.  Please, don't be discouraged with me and decide that I'm not worth being on your friends list anymore. 

We're having a hard time picking a name for the baby. I had something picked out and now I don't think I want to use it anymore. I am going to list the names that I like and if you guys could reply with your faves from the list (and others that may or may not be on here, too) I would totally appreciate it and love you forever! Here goes the list!

Just wanted to let everyonew know that I am back online after a two week absence, due to moving.  Thnaks to everyone for the comments and messages. I had gotten so many that there is no way that I can respond to everyone.  So, to everyone, I extend a big thanks :)

I will be offline for about a week due to the fact that we are moving.  We won't be back online until at leat Friday, unfortunately. So, if you email me and I don't answer, I swear I am not being rude and I still love you.  I will miss everyone.  You guys be safe and I will talk to you soon :)

This isn't paranormal related or anything, but to me, it's worth posting!

I found a new apartment that I am in love with and I am going to look at it again in the morning with my boyfriend, who hasn't seen it yet.  We're turning in our application and all of that jazz.

Please, would everyone cross their fingers and send some positive energy my way on this, because I reallllllyyyy want this apartment.

We're in a position where we have to move right now, due to the fact that we're in a tiny two bedroom apartment and we have another person who will be arriving in October (a new baby).  We already have a three year old, and this apartment is so not big enough for four people!

The rent is a little bit on the high end of what we can afford, so we're going to have to make some sacrifices to live there, including cutting down on renting movies and eating out, but to have an apartment this awesome, will be so wonderful for me.  I'll be happy just sitting in it.

Oh, and it has a huge whirlpool tub in the master bathroom and that bathroom is bigger than my current living room and dining room put together.  Yeah, I could live in that room alone and die a happy woman...
