extrovert or introvert spirits
Posted On: 06/07/2008 17:40:01

Does anyone think that what one's personality is like in life  affects whether or not one becomes a spirit in death? I'm wondering if people who are introverts, who are shy, and fearful of people don't become ghosts because they would rather not be around the living after death? Could it be more likely that those who sought out companionship in life would seek it out after death?

I know its hard for me to make friend. I don't avoid people, but I don't go out of my way to meet people either and when I do meet someone, I have no idea how to make a friendship grow. I've never learned how to make friends, and I think that goes back to having to move around so much as a child. What's the sense in making a friend when they will just move once you know them well.

I guess I won't come back as a ghost if my theory is right.

So, what do you think?

I totally agree that we are still the same people after the death of the physical body.  It all depends on the personality of the person and what issues they have when they 'die' whether or not they remain behind.

I've seen people who stayed earthbound because they wanted to wait for a spouse so that they could go 'Home' together, I've seen people so filled with remorse they didn't feel worthy, I've also seen people who were waiting for Jesus.  They would see their loved ones trying to get them to go 'Home' with them, but they were taught that Jesus would come for them and when they didn't see him, they stayed.

It all depends on the person.

Read my profile to see where I'm coming from, OK?

Yes, you keep your personality until you cross over, so ghosts are emotionally / intellectually who they were during thier recent life. But, most ghosts don't know they are dead, which leads to all manner of stange things. Of the ones who DO know they are dead some stay to finish something... care for loved ones, revenge, etc. Others stay because they believe they are sinners and will be punished... which is a lie perpetrated to control people. The Source of all Love, of which we are each a part, would not send us here and then pushish us for having the experience. (I can prattle on about hell... or the many hells... if there is interest.)

So, introvert vs extrovert would affect how a ghost handles being a ghost. Do they want attention or want to be left alone?

I do a talk called 'Everything You Know About Ghosts is Dead Wrong.' Perhaps I should offere a teleseminar for IAH members?

Hope that was helpful.
