what is the deal with the avatar ?

 I have been unable to change my avatar pic for  the longest time.. Why?? Is anyone elese having this issue?? It  has never been a problem before.

 It is an avatar that I have used time and time again.. I do not think it is the avatar as I have used it on here before with no problems.

Before posting your avatar, be sure that the size is correct.  It can only be 160 x 160.  They can't be large.  I know some people have that problem.  If you need to custome size something, use this:  www.resize2mail.com


This site is free and easy.  I use this one a bunch.  Resize your photo and try again.  Then while you have your page open (after reloading your new avatar), hit F5 or refresh your page while you are sitting there and see if it changes.  If not, restart your computer and see if that helps.  I'm not sure if there are any software issues causing problems right now or not.  I've changed my avatar several times with no trouble.  Try again and let me know if you can't get the one you want.  I can email Alan and get it changed.

 This is the  first time it has "choked up on me.. I know they had problems before.. hope it gets fixed soon..
