It's been a very long time since I've heard any evp that sent chills down my spine, but I just listened to one that did just that. It's from a recent case we're working on. It's simple in what it says... but it's what it says... "Holly"
During the case, I kept having an experience of seeing smoke billowing toward me... Think of someone puffing on a cigar and blowing it in your face. It got so bad at one point that I was actually trying to wave it away with my hand.
All within a short period of time, I saw a large pulse of light next to me, then my EMF spike, a shadow was seen on the monitor in the same area. I asked if someone had entered the room with us, then the smoke I had seen earlier appeared again and I became very uncomfortable, and now the evp. So far, everything is matching up.
I think this one really sent chills down my spine because during my childhood, I would hear a male voice call out my name all the time.
Just curious, do many of you hear your name called while doing investigations /evps? And how does it make you feel?
I would like to publicly thank Mr. Nitewing for taking this evp and working on it to enhance it a bit further and for taking what he found and making the video of it.
That makes you want to carry dry clothes with you , doesn't it? I have a spirit in my home that likes to call my name from an adjoining room. She's never there when I go check, or at least she doesn't make her presence known, but she can be pretty persistent until I go check.
The first time when reviewing an EVP and heard my name it was wierd. It has happened on a regular basis now I guess I am somewhat dissappointed if we don't have at least one team members name mentioned during the EVP part of an investigation. But I do agree it can be wierd and make you think about the beyond and what it is we are looking for the first time you hear your name.
I've been touch a few myself over the years, and that's something I really don't like.
To cbreck: When I was younger, I would hear the voice right next to me. I think that may be why this one chilled me, brought back memories. I don't think it was the same voice, but who knows, it's really hard to tell now.
For those interested, I've included the audio clips. one is just the evp, and the other is leading up to it and right after. My blogs explains what happened.
I heard my name called out once at the shop during work hours. I thought it was a customer and when I found out I was alone in the building it spooked me some. I have never heard it since. I keep waiting to hear it again, but nothing. I heard that with my own ears. That was spooky to say the least. Vicky
