Hell, no more Mr. Niceguy...
Posted On: 06/03/2008 14:03:32

I decided to spend days writing about the false teaching of eternal punishment, namely Hell, that some pulpit puppets panhandle as truth.

This erroneous, fear-mongering doctrine actually creates earthbound spirits (ghosts) and puts people on both sides of the grave in a mental state of HELL.

Based on my own PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I have to agree with you Angels & Ghosts.  Fear and our free will are what causes people to end up in their own hell.

Love can help bring people (souls) back from that.  I've done it many, many times.

Shadowdance:  In response to your question about those who commit murder, people who choose to do such things unknowingly cast themselves unto their own separation, a dark prison of mental torment...until their conscience deems they have paid the last penny of retribution.

Yet, all eventually will be reconciled, restored and elevated back to the whole.

Thanks all for the comments.  ;C)

Ken, I am not an atheist, nor do I come from only one point of observation.  I posted responses (to your other comments on my blog concerning demons) that I am a former fundamental Christian, bible teacher, elder, preacher, and chairman (of elders), etc, etc.   There is a lot of personal experience I am drawing from when I write such an essay concerning such doctrines.

I truly do understand the doctrines fundamental Christianity teaches, as I too taught them and was responsible for steering the eldership (which oversaw all spiritual direction of the church).  I walked away from it all in 1997, as I heard within me that it was time to go.  I never looked back.  :c)

I write such things, because I want to cause people to think - especially those who wish to peddle their harmful wares to the masses in the name of Jesus.  Ken, if you do not teach others to fear hell and demons, then I respect you a lot.  However, if you choose to subscribe to fear then your teachings are in error and damaging to many a person.

I have to say you are a good writer, though biased. It reminds me of how an  anthropologist, whom is an atheist, will look at a Pig snout bone and see the missing link to Mans evolution enough to build one from it a complete skeleton. The absurdity such as that where they look so hard and want so badly to prove mans origins to apes, yet they find nothing. And will go as far as to try to fabricate one.
Again the point here, I always said if you look hard enough you will find it, because as William Childless talked about in his book  "Forbidden archeology" (I think it was), an atheist for example looks for everything that supports his belief and ignores all that might support the contrary.

very interesting read  I have to say that was very informative and thought out...I have never really believed in an actual firey hell where people are tortured forever by fire..and some would say... what about all the evil people who have committed damnable sins like murder etc....I personally believe their punishment will be a seperation from God both emotionally and physically... which to me would be hell enough....thanks for taking the time to share this...it reminded me of the ole days at the country tent revival ..boy were those scary times lol.
