Regan. Interesting did you recheck the batteries after you left the area to see if they were working properly again? And with the coil on, the psychics were more heightened and the batteries did not drain. That is interesting in itself because with the coils the energy being produced could have caused a field to be generated which could have prevented a lesser field to be established from another source. Did you pick up any activity with the coils on besides the psychic awareness being heightened. Where there a lot of orbs being witnessed?

There have been test done with Tesla coil for pumping a room full of energy to see if it attracted more spirit manifestations. To this date I dont think anyone has shared the results of these tests. I agree with you. I dont understand why electrical power plants are not infested with ghosts, or nuclear power plants. If all they need is AC or DC currents to come into this world. And even if they did use these currents a small battery pack would not make that much of a difference to them. It would have to be an enormous amount of energy draw. Emf detectors are good for monitoring fluctuations which may involve movement of somekind. Not the spirit itself. Its of my own opinion that they use a totally different kind of energy to show themselves or to communicate in this world that we know nothing about.

Yes this has happened a couple times to me as well.And after a few minutes they are just fine.I've been to the triangular field a few times,but nothing drained.Good luck and say hello to olePete for me!

How big is the area?

Do a little experiment for me if it's reasonable.  When something sucks your batteries dry, turn off the device, leave the dead zone (pun intended... but really more because I couldn't think of another term for it) for a period of three to five minutes and then see if you've got your battery power back.  If you can't leave, simply try turning it off for a while and then back on again (less likely to work because whatever did it might still be hanging around touching it).

One of my teammates has a theory (she got from an electrical engineer friend of hers) that batteries are so thorougly shielded that entities aren't draining them.  What's happening, rather, is they're interrupting less-protected circuitways in the device itself and making the device think the batteries are dead when they aren't.  We've tested it a few times and it does appear to happen that way.  We ALWAYS check our "dead" batteries away from an investigation when something unexpected occurs with them and most of the time they're perfectly fine.

I agree I think I will try to experiment alittle bit on that see if I can get any spirits to completely shut down everything in the house.  May take a while to get back up but, it would be interesting !
