What a weekend. My wife and I dropeed of the three daughters at the grandparents and went Missouri wine country for the weekend. Drank way too much wine had some good food and my wife got the crap scared out of her. We stayed at a B&B, just one I found on the internet, turn of the centruy Queen Anne style home. She woke up at 1:30 in the morning to use the restroom and when she got back in bed she woke me up and said that this place is creepy. "When I was getting a drink of water it felt like someone was standing right behind me." Being tired and intoxicated I told her that it was the wine. Seconds after I said that the clost door opened about 6 inches and we heard footsteps in the closet, they stopped for about 30 seconds and then were in the attic. Needless to say I was excited and she was terrified. Their were some noises from the attic for a little while then it stopped. About 3:30 AM the closet door slammed shut, needless to say that gave us quite a jolt. When we woke up in the morning I checked out the closet door to see how hard it opens/closes, any trap doors in it etc. When we went downstairs for breakfast there were two other couples sitting at the table so I did not bring up our experience until after they had left. When I asked the owner about it she proceeded to tell me about all of the stuff that has happened since the 6 years that she has owned the B&B. I will being going back sometime and she has agreed to let me bring equipment and do an investigation of the place. What a great weekend!
