No I wish I did know how old it is. All I can say its old. I had a couple people look at it they have no idea how old it is or what part of the world it came from. I will bring it to any place of study, but the statue stays in my sight at all times if I do. No leaving it at a place.

That's a very interesting photograph Dav. Any idea how old that carving is?
Yes and by an ancient culture, way before our time!
For everyones curiosity this statue is real, Its not a fake or a forgery. It was carved into a stalagmite of a cave. It has peculiar photographic properties to it. It is brown in color, when photographed at different angels the photos come out white blue or red. It is made from some sort of calcium, with an outer coating of some type of hardened clay. It was broken in half when I aquired it. The person selling it did not know that the two halves where one statue. Every time I put the thing together and look at it, Hp Lovecraft is in my mind. I think the man wrote more non fiction in his fiction.
I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
