It does make for an interesting picture. The dark color of the walls and lighting sets the environment for paranormal mood. Thanks for sharing!

You know, I don't think this is the Tulip Staircase (that I was talking about in the previous post).  That is ironwork, not wood.  And the stairwell area in the Queen's House looked to me to be white marble. 


I think this picture is from another place.

Looks like a monk, very similar to the famous photo taken of this staircase where the hand with a ring very clearly seen on the finger is gripping the banister, and it is attached to an arm which is attached to a foggy figure climbing the staircase. 


I climbed this staircase back in 1977, and it never felt spooky to me (but then, it was a bright, sunny afternoon when I did it).
