I work night shifts at a local hospital. Once in awhile in my office or out in the hallway I see what seems to be a shadowy figure out of the corner of my eyes. I've heard things drop, and then went to check the stacks and find nothing is fallen. For the most part, I put this up to being tired. However, awhile back I was talking to another employee who cleans the hospital on second shift. She said that she sees the same sort of thing on the first floor as well. I don't know her that well, but I really don't have any reason to disbelieve her. I want to believe that there could be activity there because of all the deaths and rampant emotions, but I'm still skeptical. I'm not sure why a spirit would hang out in such a place either. Maybe it's just being alone in the basement at night that makes my imagination play tricks, then again maybe there is something to it. My question is is there a "sneaky" way to record evp or video? I don't really want to get in trouble at work, but there aren't a lot of people around at night. The curiosity of the whole thing is just getting to me. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Only 17 more days to go! I so look forward to this geeked out getaway. It just gets crazier and crazier every year. I'm going to be there. You should be there too! Labor Day weekend Atlanta, GA! *is hyper
I'm thinking of taking my first paranormal trip, hopefully by the first of the year. I just can't quite decide where to go first? Does anyone have any suggestions on places to visit with lots of paranormal activity? I know there oodles of places out there, but I haven't had much experience on my own, when it comes to the "hunt" Are there places that are more well suited for a person who is still in the learning process of paranormal investigating?

Uh Oh. I am in trouble. It's been too long since I was here last. I've been spending far too much time in the normal world and neglecting the paranormal world (which is WAY more fun if you ask me). There's not a lot going on here at the moment. I'm just counting down the days until Dragon*Con. I am SO ready for that this year! Hope everyone has been doing well. I look forward to coming back and catching up with you all. Have a fantastic weekend!

Well the hard part is over with now. I hope. This is day 4 of post op and I'm still tired as all get out. I go tomorrow to get stitches out and maybe finally find out the results of the path reports. I feel like I could sleep for another year or two.
I just found out that I have to have surgery to remove some "suspicious" lymph nodes in my neck. Oh how I wish this were a cruel April Fools joke. I know I shouldn't get worked up about it until after its over and I know for sure if it is cancer or not, but I'm freaking out a bit.
Well, Ive had the winter blechs for some time now. Crappy weather on top of an already depressing state of mind. I'm just not handling it well. What do you all do to de stress and get through each day when your down?
I do have one very bright spot in my life right now. In a few months I'm headed to England. Maybe just for a few weeks. Maybe for good. I know running away from problems only makes them worse, but right now I just don't care much. I so wish I could be there right now.
Hi there. I've been a member here for awhile now, but not really involved much in actual investigating. I live in a very small town in NW Missouri and was wondering if anyone wanted to help start up a new group in this area? I've had a hard time finding a group that's accepting new people, so I thought the best way would be to start something new. Right now the only "proper" equipment that I have is a digital camera. I'd go it alone, but that's not much fun, and it's not really safe to do anyhow. There is no better way to learn than by doing. So, if anyone is interested or has suggestions on where to look please let me know. Thank you so much.

Whoa. I've been away for a bit. Stupid life always getting in the way of my fun. I want to apologize to those of you who I haven't replied to in awhile. It's almost a new year, so my resolution is to do better at communicating with people. I've really missed my little online home away from home. I hope everyone is doing well and making it through the holiday season.
Where I live we just got walloped by a huge ice storm, so things are a bit chaotic. I can't complain much though, my heat and electric are back up and running. There are tons of people out there going on day of four of no heat, power, or water. I ask that you keep these people in your thoughts and prayers.
Anyway, it's good to be back. I've missed you all so very much!
