According to a news story at www.foxnews.com bigfoot trackers say they found bigfoot. They say they have a body, photo and dna evidence supporting this.

They said they will reveal all at a press conference in Palo Alto, California on Friday- August 15, 2008.

There is an old cemetery at the end of St. John Rd. in Elizabethtown, Ky that is said to be haunted. Everyone I have talked to about this swears that the stories are true. I read that it's original name is Grandview Cemetery but was nicknamed "Gates of Hell" Cemetery. Supposedly devil worshipers are said to do their rituals there. According to an article in an April 2003 in the Hardin County News Enterprise newspaper, 2 members of a ghost research group found the remains of 3 dogs, a puppy, 2 cats, a calf and a deer scattered throught the cemetery. They also found a bloodied 20lb bag of dog food in the cemetery.One of the researchers said the animals looked to be pretty mutilated and possibly skinned and burned. She said mostly what was left were bones but it's not like they were decayed.

One of the researchers also said that every time they went to the cemetery, they would find black candles and also there has been satanic spray painting on the road leading into the cemetery and on the trees.

This cemetery is at the end of St. Johns Rd. and one thing that's interesting is whe you are traveling to this cemetery, one of the last buildings you'll pass is Bethlahem Academy which is said to be Elizabethtown's other haunted place. I think it's a restaurant now.

The cemetery contains the graves of unknown people from the 1700's and 1800's.

According to reports, people have claimed to hear screams, see shadow people and have electrical problems with their cars. Some claim that they were so scared in the cemetery that they will never return to it.

Also, a friend of mine told me that he was with some friends and decided to go to the cemetery. He claims it is a very scarey place and that him and his friends were chased out by something they couldn't see. He also said that a couple of people in their group supposedly heard voices. He said they felt cold spots (it was warm outside) and experienced a bad feeling. I don't know if he's making a bigger deal out of it than it was or what. As his friend, I want to believe him but I need to experience it myself before I can do that. Does that sound awful? I hope not. That's just how I am.

I hear the cemetery is regularly patrolled by the police because of vandalism (which  vandalism really ticks me off) so be sure to contact the authorities if you ever get the chance to investigate the "Gates of Hell" Cemetery.

I went on my very first investigation on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 with Carolyn and Henry from LPI.

The original location that we were going to investigate was a bust through no fault of LPI so it got scrubbed. So we went to a local cemetery. All I caught was a few orbs(which I'm positive were just reflections), but I had a great time.

I learned a lot. I asked a lot of questions. I am sure that Carolyn and Henry wished I would stop asking so many-lol.

Anyway, although I didn't really catch anything paranormal, it was a great experience and I am really looking forward to investigating again with LPI. Carolyn and Henry are two of the nicest people I've ever met and I know I can learn a lot from them.

Recently I was asked if I would be interested in joining a new paranormal investigative team that's forming close to where I live. Well, of course I said I would be very interested. They are going to be training me and i was wondering what equipment I should take along when I start. I have never been on a real, professional ghost hunt and I want to make a good, professional impression but I really can't afford very much at all. I'm kind of embarrassed to say that but it's true. I know I need a flashlight, a camera and a compass could work in place of an emf meter but what else? Should I have a digital camera or will a 35mm or one of those disposable ones work? Also, what about a thermometer? What kind should I have? Like I said, money is very tight but I really want/need to do this.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'm so embarrassed but this means the world to me.

It's 3:21 and I'm sitting here with my laptop not able to sleep.

My mind keeps wondering about various things and one (probably silly and stupid) keeps popping in my mind. I have read a lot about hauntings, watched a lot of documentaries about them and searched all over the internet for them and the thing I'm wondering is why there's never anything about hauntings in mobile homes or campsites? Why not hospitals that are still operating or even new?

Also, why is it better to ghost hunt in the dark? Why are spirits less active in the day? If they don't really want to interact with us, why are they here?  I'm talking about the intelligent hauntings. Not the residuals. If they can manifest and move objects, etc. in the dark, why can't they in the light?

Why does it seem that paranormal activity is increasing more and more? Are they trying to tell us something that's far more important and/or urgent that we need to know?

Well, just some silly thoughts of a silly soul that can't sleep.

The house I grew up in was haunted by the ghost of a little girl and, as far as I know, she was the only spirit there.

I've always believed that when we die, we are given a choice to either go to the other side or stay here in spirit. If we choose to go to the other side, our loved ones and/or angels are there to greet us and escort us to the other side.

If this is true, why are some children stuck here all alone? Was there no one there to escort them over? Why is there no one to take care of them?

I have heard stories that involve babies crying and nothing else. I've also heard that sometimes spirits journey between the other side and here to visit us. If this is true, why don't they take the babies back with them or why don't they just stay and take care of the children?

For instance, there is the ghost of "Timmy" at Waverly Hills. Is his parents with him? If not, why did his parents choose to leave him or why did he choose to stay here without them?

I often think of the little girl that haunted our house and I wish, now that I'm an adult, that I could go back and help her cross over.

I know that this probably makes no sense and I'm sure it sounds stupid but it just makes me really sad to know that there are children stuck between this world and the next and they're all alone.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been hearing about sightings of shadow people a lot more lately. It makes me wonder what they are.

Well, I decided to do a little research on them and found there are a few different theories about them out there.

There is the theory that shadow people are actually demons or demonic spirits. Some believe this theory to be right because these entities are so dark and lack detail. Also because some have reported seeing glowing red eyes when they've witnessed these beings. Feelings of dread are reported too.

Another interesting theory is that shadow people are the spirits or essences of people having out-of-body experiences.

Yet another theory is that they are actually people from the future that found a way to travel to the past, which is our time, and appear to us as passing shadows.

There's also theories that they are interdimensional beings and even a theory that they are actually aliens from another planet.

Have any of you ever came across a shadow person? If so, did it cause you to have bad feelings and did you see red eyes? What is your opinion as to what they are? Do you think they are dangerous and can they hurt us physically?

Please share your opinion on this fascinating subject.

Hello everybody!

I just tried this and it's true!

Google has a feature that enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit Mapquest, you will get a map to the person's house. Everyone should be aware of this!! It's a nationwide reverse phone book.

If a child gives out his/her telephone number, someone can look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious and very alarming!

You can have your phone number removed or blocked. I tried my phone number and it came up with the mapquest and directions straight to my house! I did fill out the removal form for myself and encourage each of you to do the same.

I think this is very dangerous, especially if you have children that use the internet.

So please look up your own telephone number.

In order to test your own telephone number, go to: google (http://www.google.com). Type your phone number in the search bar (i.e. 555-555-5555) and hit enter. If you want to block google from giving out your private information, simply click on your telephone number and then click on the REMOVAL FORM. Removal takes about 48 hours.

This may not apply to you if you have an unlisted number or cell phone as your primary contact number, but you may know someone it will apply to.So please share this important information with your friends and family.

Hello everyone! I want to write about an experience I'm having with dejavu.

I am at my sister's house and I was fine until about a week ago. Now this is going to sound a little crazy but here goes.

I was sitting on the porch and there is a bird that lives across the street in a cage in the garage and the garage is kept open during the day. I think it's a cuckatoo(I hpe I spelled that right) and it mocks people, whistles at women,etc. Well, I was bored so I started talking to the bird(I know people thought I was nuts b/c I was yelling across the street at this bird-lol). Anyway, I started having the strangest and strongest sense of dejavu. Then this feeling began getting worse and has gotten more and more intense everyday since then. There's a little girl(my sister's new husband's daughter staying with them for the summer from Iowa) and I have never ever met her before. Well, she has a problem with her thumb and she has to excersize it regularly by bending it and moving it around. So, I asked her one day if she had been working her thumb and this dejavu thing hit me again like a ton of bricks. I have told her this before! There's also a little boy with a mowhawk and his little sister(my sister's step-neice and nephew) and I have the very same feeling about them. I have an overwhelming sense of dejavu about the bird, this house, the kids, the dogs next door and even the scorpions. Normally, I wouldn't pay no attention to it but it's so strong and getting stronger everyday. The weird thing is that I have no feeling like this about my sister's new husband, his son(the little girl with the thumb problem's brother) or anyone else around here.

I have not been to the corpus christi area since I was a little girl and it is so weird b/c I knew where everything was in this house when I first got here and I didn't really realize that until these feelings of dejavu started occuring. It is really kind of creeping me out b/c I've had slight feelings of dejavu before but nothing like this and it's almost like I can tell what is going to happen with the kids etc. everyday before it happens.

Like I said, it is really overwhelming me and I have never experienced anything quite like it. Why is this happening?

Like I said, I wouldn't think much about it, but it is so darn strong.

By the way, the kids and I became very close right off the bat and they all call me Aunt Lisa. Two of them have evn asked me if they could go back to Kentucky with me! They don't even know me!!!

Well, I thought I would share. Maybe I am just really nuts.
