To Dad
Posted On 02/26/2008 19:09:27
Dad I know in the past we didn't always see eye to eye. But I want to thank you for being there for me when it mattered the most. I will always remember our fishing trips, Yankee,Devils and Giants games, our time working on the house, getting the chance to work with you, traveling to different places, and most of all for making me the man I am today. You will always be in my heart and thoughts.

2008 so far sucks
Posted On 01/07/2008 15:22:34

Well folks we are a week into the new year and I am already set to skip it for  2009.

This past Thursday my wife and I went to a wake of a dear friend who was a Piscataway Township cop for over 26 years. Our friend was gunned down not in the line of duty, but by his own son. After attending the service, my sister calls me to tell me that my uncle and great aunt also have past away, and their respected services are going to be held this weekend.

If this wasn't bad enough I hired a plumber to fix a leaky pipe next to the boiler at my mom's house. I went after work on Friday to see what the plumber had fixed and to clean up his mess. Upon entering the house I notice the front hallway ceiling on the floor and water all over the place. I called the plumber and ripped him a new one. He came back and turned off the heat until he could come back on Saturday( day of service #1). So now I missed the service for my Aunt and waited all day for someone to come and look at the damages. I was told that nothing could be done until Monday.

Onto Sunday, I get up and notice I have a pain in my left knee. So I pop a few back and body pills and head off the my uncles service. As the day goes on , the pain increases. By 3am I can no longer bear weight on the leg.

I wake up Monday morning after getting about an hour of sleep and go to the Emergency Room. Once there I get poked and asked a 1000 questions. After an hour, which seemed like years I finally get some painkillers. They take an Xray and other tests, only to tell me that the left knee has rapid degeneration and most likely will require knee replacement. (something I have feared for years now, after years of playing multiple sports). I have the ortho doctor scheduled for tomorrow.

The best part is saved for last, the plumber finally called at 4pm and wanted to come take a look at my mom's house. I was told he would be there sometime today to fix the problem, not just look at the problem...

So as you can see so far 2008 for me blows.. just had to vent

Weirdos
Posted On 10/12/2007 10:44:11

Last weekend my group got a call to investigate a private home. The reports were hearing noises, moving objects, tv and stereos coming on and off,and of course a shadow person. Everyone believed in the paranormal except one family member who claims to be a pure skeptic.

We arrived at the home and we are greated with the Ghostbusters theme... Right there we knew we were in for a "great" evening. We setup, turned out the lights, made sure there was quiet, and then went to work.

As we try to do evp work the skeptic was making wise cracks and giggles as we asked questions.  As the night went on we felt nothing. So about an hour into this "investigation I told my time it was time to go.

As we were packing up our stuff the family was like so "what did you get" I responded we have to go through the material and get back to you.  Like we got anything to report other then laughing.

The final straw was the best comment of them all "so you must be booked till Halloween". The nerve of some people, like we wanted to waste our time. We thought there was a problem and were trying to help. We are NOT a Saturday night entertainment group.

Got to love the freeloader
Posted On 09/10/2007 19:51:34

I went to a 9-11 memorial candlelight prayer last night, and I have to hand it to the local freeholder(or freeloaders) as I call them) and other stuff shirt speakers. These lowlifes complain about the war on a every day basis, and now on the day we are told that we should not forget that horrible day they preach about how the war is good . I say how the hell can you forget, I personally remember that day like it was yesterday.  I also read in the local paper, that some towns have stopped holding these 9-11 candlelight memorials because they feel that the people don't need to dwell on this issue anymore. Are you serious, looks like there is someone who won't be getting my vote....

There friends and families who do not have a marker for their loved ones and these candlelight prayer services are a way for the community to get together and show support for these people.

It is a shame the year after the horrible events that took place on 9-11-01 people filled stadiums to remember that day, and now the paper was proud to report a handful turned out to remember.

Thank you for letting me vent...My prayers go out to the families and friends who lost someone that day, and to the men and woman who protect us day in and out.

Vacation is over
Posted On 08/20/2007 12:39:17
Well I wish to say it is good to be home...but I can't. Why does a vacation go by so quickly? Well back to reality and my job hunting quest. I had an interview last week, and should know bu the end of the week if I got it. If I get it it means big changes and plenty of moving boxes.

Pet Peeves Part II
Posted On 06/29/2007 15:31:34

Oh okay like paying an arm, leg, first born for a tank of gas isn't enough!!!!

If you live in NJ or pump your own gas you will know what I mean by what I am about to blast!!!

Pet peeve of the day.. Lazy gas station attendents!!! These lower life forms need a reality check. I got gas today and I rolled down my window so I could tell the non-english speaking worker what I wanted. As I sat there the moron opened up the tank and then tapped on my passenger window. Arghh lazy sheep herder!!! I yelled out the window to sheep herder to come to my window (hell if I have to pay all this money for the gas at least he could do was come to my window) Finally the herder zombied walked to my window I told him to fill it. Thr herder filled the car and again tapped the glass. Arghhhhh!!! I said if you want my money come over here and get it.... He grabs the money, no thank you, just some grunting in sheep herder.

What ever happened to paying say like $10 for gas, and getting your oil checked and windows cleaned!!!!

Thank you all for allowing me to vent again
