HVRN Radio borrowed EVPS?
Posted On 11/02/2007 08:31:24
Has this ever happened to you and what can I do about it? One of my members of our group was listening to HVRN radio October 31st. They had a guest on who says he is a EVP specialist for a New England group based in Massachucetts. My member told me one of the first EVP's he presented was ours! He went on to tell me a little more into the show another of our EVP's were played! He claimed they were his personal collection. I since have contacted the EVP group founder, the EVP specialist and HVRN radio via email and havent had a response. I am very upset someone would take something without permission or even giving us recognition! I will keep you all posted if any of them respond!

PLEASE READ!!!! Question on INVESTIGATIONS!

Hello, my name is John and I am a little upset! I have a paranormal group here in Connecticut and we have been together for over 2 years now. We got together due to our interests in the unknown. We have investigated several inns, several historical places, and many homes.

This past week I was contacted by a woman in Norwalk, CT. She seemed upset about her situation. She told me she had contacted a group from the area and the person she talked to said they would be happy to come by and investigate her home. The woman said her step mom and step brother both had commited suicide in the home and strange noises were happening along with lights going on and off.

She said the person she talked to said they would investigate for free. When they showed up they walked the home. She said there was a mother, son, and the sons girlfriend doing the investigation. She said the woman told here there were several spirits in the home that she senced, she also said there was a demon in the home. The guy in the group told her that several antiques that were in the home were posessed and he would have to remove them from the home (which included a 100 year old mantle clock and a antique bullet packer). She said she didnt want to part with them and they told her if they didnt get to take them and bury them on sacred ground that she would be tormented even worse! She then gave in.

She told me they basically scared the heck out of her with these demon stories. The man in the group assured her by saying he was a Catholic lay demonoligist and works with the Catholic church and he has seen hundreds of places like hers. She allowed them to take the items and they packed them into their car along with several other items. She told me the guy in the group said they had to contact a "Bishop" from Connecticut (in which she found out he actually isnt a Bishop) to bless her house. When they left they asked her for a donation on top of all the items they took. She asked how much? The older woman said "we usually get $300 to $500 for an investigation then there is a charge to bury the items in sacred soil of $600! The woman then told her the "bishop" fee would be $300 to cleanse her home!!

The group said that she would be hearing from them and asked if they could use her story for a television series on "A Haunting". She told me this person said he had several of his stories featured on the show. This was last December, she said on top of the items taken, she gave them $300 and was left up in the air and was living in fear with the supposed demon. They never called her back. Thats when she contacted me for help.

I was just wondering if this is standard practice in this field? If it is Im heading out. Have you ever heard of anything like this? The woman said she will be contacting the States attorney general, the local police and the catholic church. I really hope she gets her items back!
