     My future wife and I would visit her family in rhode Island every weekend. This particular weekend(I don't remember the exact date,but it was early 1994)we stayed overnight. She slept in her old room and I slept in Nonna's room(italian catholic traditions prevailed).  I remember not being able to sleep very well and waking up suddenly around 1 am. now you have to understand Nonna had ms therefore her bedroom was on the first floor down the hall from the kitchen and next door to the bathroom. oh by the way Nonna was visiting her other daughter and grandchildren out of state, so you don't think that i put her out. anyway I couldn't sleep and I felt that there was something looking at me. I looked out into the hall and sure enough I saw what appeared to be a man in his mid 50's-early 60's dressed in a garb of the 1880's to the turn of the century.  He wore a derby and had long sideburns that were common at that time in history.  As he continued to walk towards the bedroom I could see that his face had a very angry expression and that he was gesturing with his hands and mouthing that he wanted us out, that this was his house and no one else belonged there.  I was so scared that I turned away from him for about 5-10 seconds and when I looked back he was gone.  I told my mother-in-law and my future wife about the incident, and they both exclaimed "oh, you saw the disgruntled old man".  They told me that when their cousins would come to visit and stay the night that they have seen him but nobody in the family that lived there ever had any interaction with him, pretty creepy.  You can drive by the house but I don't know if the current occupants will let you inside.  The house is at 63 Fairway Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island.  Happy Haunting!

My wife was not a big believer in "my gift", that is until we went to Ireland on our honeymoon.  We primarily traveled the west coast of Ireland, at one point we stayed at a bed and breakfast near Blarney Castle.  I believe that it was around 2 am when I woke her up and told her that there was something in our room, i could feel it.  before I could finish my sentence the draws in the dresser started to open and close and the door to the bathroom would open and close, finally someone or something was trying to open our door.  She spent the rest of the night cowering under the blankets.
