A young man's wish to remain standing in death has been fulfilled. Through a special embalming treatment, Angel Pantoja Medina, left, remained upright in a corner at his mother's home in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for his three-day wake. Here, family members bid goodbye to the 24-year-old Monday.

"He wanted to be happy, standing," said Medina's brother, Carlos, right, who's kissing his cheek. The owner of the funeral home that did the embalming said Medina's mother asked him to fulfill her dead son's last wish.

Medina was dressed in a brown Yankees baseball cap, T-shirt, sunglasses, and a gold cross hung around his neck. He was found dead Friday underneath a bridge in San Juan and buried Monday. Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

"La Iglesia de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles" (The Church of Our Lady the Queen of the Angels) was founded on August 18, 1814 and rebuilt in 1861. I love this little sub-mision to the San Gabriel Mission. This photo I took a few days ago from the very back of the mision. As you can tell, it is small, but just as beautiful as God said it should be. I caught a few orbs while there, as well as a few extra parishoners who weren't there before or after I took the photo.

Last week I posted a photo of a little ghost girl and I got a message from boyinblue3 asking about the background of the photo.  Here is what I have:

The explanation that came along with the photo submitted by Tony is:

A friend sent this photo to me and said that his Uncle visited this house in August 2006. His uncle stated that no one has lived in the house since 1970. It belongs to a family business.

When we were inside, our heads felt like they could explode, we felt the energy being sucked right out of us. Three times we went in but we couldn't stay in longer than 2 or 3 minutes. Each time we entered the house we would take random photos. We felt a lot of negative energy and we heard strange unidentified noises.

We later viewed the digital photos on the computer. It was shocking to see this chilling figure of a ghost girl show up on the screen! When we took the photo's in that house we only felt things but could not see them. My friends think that the girl looks evil but I think she is just shy with her arms behind her back.

I copied the original to AOL, cropped and auto enhanced it.  There are quite a bit of orbs there, unless they are bugs after all it is July.  I love the attitude and impressions this lady gives off.  She's really watching these guys who are in HER space, making sure they don't do anything stupid.

All I know about this photo is that it was taken in July 2007 at a cemetery in Fall River, MA.  The image of a woman is on the far left with her hand on her hip, the light is waist/bellybutton height, and she's wearing a long dress.

This is the explanation that was sent with the photo:
Taken in an old tenement attic in Aberdeen, Scotland.
After bing told by my friend that the attic in the block of flats was haunted, I asked to be let up.
I tried to take a video, but it was too dark so I took a photo instead. The flash on the camera isn't very bright but when I brightened it a bit on my computer you can make out a figure of what looks like a small girl in the back corner next to some chairs.

Hi everyone!  And thanks for the comments on the two photos I posted yesterday.  Let me explain them:

I found "Mother and Son"  with the explanation that the mom  was at her sister's house with her son, where this photo was taken.  When the film was developed, she saw the image of the young boy in the background and didn't know what or who it was.  Kind of sounded like she was scared. 

Some of my friends were having a hard time seeing the image in the back, so I copied it to AOL, cropped it, rotated it, and tried to fix the color.  The result is the "Cropped of Mother and Son" photo. 

To me it looks like a young boy with blood running from his mouth; his eyes are open; his nose and surrounding area appears to be swollen; and there are two pools of blood, one above his ear and one below it on the left side.

I don't know if this is a real ghost photo or one that has been photoshopped.  Whatever it is, it scares the s**t out of me.  If real, I pray the boy passed fast.  If fake, who in their right mind would post such a horrible thing?

In Hollywood, there is a street named Sierra Bonita that is often the scene of a Western movie! 

There are cowboys, indians, horses and wagons.  It is thought to once have been the site used for filming of western movies in the early days of Hollywood.  Actors and stuntmen were injured or died performing dangerous acts for the cameras.  There is no record of any such accidents recorded, but the ghosts come back to this same spot to reenact the same scene.

Residents have grown accustomed to the battles fought, until they come too close:  one of the braves showed up in a living room in a threatening posture, another resident was almost hit by a tomahawk thrown by an indian in full war paint and bonnet, and a motorist crashed into a tree getting out of the way of a careening covered wagon.

They are a rowdy bunch, this ghostly cast, gathering on the corner of Sierra Bonita and Hollywood Blvd. to fight their fight over and over again.
