The origin of Halloween lies in the traditions of the Celtic people. The Celts believed that the veil between this world and the next was thinnest during this time of year. Friends and relatives who had died would often return, with their souls inhabiting an animal, often a black cat. Black cats have remained a symbol of Halloween down to the present time.

I'm hoping your St. Patrick's Day turns out just spectacular! I am going out for my corned beef and cabbage tonight with the hubby. No green beer though. I like full flavored beer. This Friday, I am going to Chicago for the first time since my 19 year old was in 5th grade! We are going to tour some of the museums and pick up the 3 new Savannah kittens we have bought! I am looking forward to meeting them! I remodeled the ferret's cage and added 2 hammocks for them, but I think I will have to add a 3rd because one is left out, since there are 3. Have a good one! Love and hugs, Erikanokomis
I hope the beginning of this week finds you healthy and happy! I hope this week brings you lots of satisfying things to do! "When nothing is sure, everything is possible!" by Margaret Drabble. The 21st is coming quickly...I am going to my first cat show in Chicago! I am really looking forward to that. When I find something that I love, I enter it with a passion! Hugs, Erikanokomis

business, the frequent investigations, the flu, the website, yada yada
yada, I know, excuses, excuses. Sorry. Hope you are doing well and it
is warming up where you are.
I am thinking of starting a free banner exchange for anyone with a paranormal website. If you think this is a good idea then let me know. If there is enough interest I'd start it up.
