I've been posting my poetry on urbis.com and in my myspace blog, so I thought I would start posting a few here....
Lemme know what you think... invisible hands. choking me. crying out. i can't see. trying to reach. keeping calm. slowly slipping. won't see the dawn. warm air now cold. i can see my breath. praying to God. fearing the death. where is my savior? who is this i feel? why can't i see you? is this real? who is this so angry and alone? why are they still here? Why won't they leave me be? Who is this i fear? wish i was dreaming. i can't see the light. i can't remember happiness. i won't last the night. suddenly alone. gasping, breathing. i don't know what to do. knowing it is seething. invisible hands. choking me. crying out. i can't see. trying to reach. keeping calm. slowly slipping.

I'm so psyched about going to prospect place tomorrow!!!!!!!
A lot of people have been talking to me about their experiences, which has just boost my excitement so much more...

The ONLY issue I have is driving up there and back alone.
I hate traveling to new place all by myself.
I get nervous.
And I'll probably be tired after the investigation....

In other non-crazed news, a group from Northern Kentucky has requested to investigate RTP.
How fun!
I asked the gal how they heard of RTP, and she said the shadowlands site, meaning theshadowlands.net.
Well, I checked the site out and all it said about RTP is
CIRCLEVILLE-THE ROUNDTOWN THEATRE- THIS THEATRE IS HOME TO SEVERAL PLAYFUL POLTERGEISTS. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS REPORTS OF MYSTERIOUS SIGHTTS AND SOUNDS SUCH AS EERIE FOOTSTEPS ON THE BALCONY. ON ONE ACCOUNT, A DOG RESPONDED IN SUCH TERROR TO THE GHOST THAT IT HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING. THE GHOST HAS ALSO BEEN SEEN PEERING OUT OF THE MIRRORS INTO THE EYES OF HORRIFIED WITNESSES. THE GHOST IS KNOW AS CHARLIE.
Now, that's not completely right!
I'm totally going to write them and give them a more accurate account of what has been going on at RTP....

I'm sorry, but I find this hilarious....
Each Ghost is captured from a reported haunted establishment, (house, hotel, ship, cemetery, etc), by our Ghost Hunters.
We seal the ghost in it's own bottle. The bottle is sealed for your protection.
No maintenance required; except occasional dusting.
You may release the Ghost at your own discretion and at your own risk.
The Ghost in the Bottle is contained mysteriously and is therefore sealed with wax shortly after the Ghost is caught. The bottle is sealed for your protection. It comes with very important information . We supply the Ghost, you supply the name. Individual Ghost experiences may vary as "Each Ghost is Unique"!
Each Ghost also comes with a "Ghost Certificate" which is signed by the Ghost Hunter that captures each Ghost and is engraved with a Ghost Hunters seal.
"The Ghost Bottle is 10.5 X 2.5 inches"
If you open or break your bottle you may experience any or all of the following:
• A voice out of nowhere.
• Muffled Moans and Groans for long periods of time during the day or night.

• Activity will usally peak around 3:00 am in the morning or on rainy days.

I'm so freaking excited!!!!! In other news, T.O.P.S. will be coming to RTP on the 31st. I met with them this past Tuesday to do a walk through of the building, and they are uber nice. I'm really looking forward to their investigation.
So.
I turned in my money.
I've got my shirt.
Now, all I have to do is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt for June 14th to roll around....
I hate waiting.

I think it's very interesting how people sometimes react when I tell them I am a paranormal investigator.
Sometimes, I am a bit tentative when I say that because I wonder how people will react.
I mean, you never know who will freak out, or who will go "OMG! My cousin's husband's best friend is a ghost hunter!" or "OMG! I love that show on Sci Fi!"
Eh.
In my opinion, the whole ghost hunting scene has become a fad, Thanks to Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted, and Paranormal State. And that's kinda sad, because it's a really serious subject and not something to play around with like clothes, or boy bands.
C'est La Vie....
I've become more proud of being who I am lately.
I don't know why.
I'm really happy I found BSPHI and I'm excited to work with them more in the future.
I am a firm believer that Life is the best teacher, and I know I'll learn more with every experience.
A theatre friend, John, owns a couple of different businesses in Circleville, including the little movie theatre, The Movie House.
In the back of the building, he has made up the Screening Club, which has one screen and a private bar area where you can get various foods and beverages, and whatnot.
ANYWHOOO, he came into the restaurant the other day, and told me that a couple of people over there have seen a couple of different apparations in the Screening Club. I told John I could go over and get the facts from those who have experienced it, or he could bring them into the restaurant to talk.
Okay, so I went to the Movie House last night and took my MP3 Player/ Digital recorder and interviewed the folks who work over there.
OMG. I had no idea this stuff was going on.
Apparently it started over 5 years ago, with construction and renovating the building.
The building is sitting on some sort of Indian burial ground. (Go figure.)
-The employees took a lot of pictures of the various parts of the theatre during this time, and a lot of the photos came back with shadow, sillouettes, and faces in the shots.
-One of their sons was breaking stones down in the furnace room by himself, and was trying to hurry through his chore because he was nervous and the smell was really bad. He dumped a pile next to the entrance, and when he came back into the room, the pile was moved and stacked neatly across the room.
- A couple of classes from one of the local schools had a field trip in the theatre, and as the group was exiting the theatre, one of the teachers came running up to the girls who work there and told them she would never come back.
When they asked her why, she told them as she was walking up the aisle to the exit, she saw a woman with long hair, and a long white dress in the projection booth.
-There is the feeling of someone entering the room, and they'll look to find no one.
-One night two of the women were working, and nothing really happened that night at the theatre. One of them was driving home, and felt like someone was sitting behind her in the car and was hitting the back of the seat.
When she got home she told her husband and children she thought someone had rode home with her. A minute later, the phone rang, and it was the other employee saying, "I think something was in the car with me. It kept hitting the back of my seat."
-They once heard a low growling sound, unlike an animal. They felt it was evil.
-At different times, they'll smell roses, cigars, or a fishy smell in the stairwell to the projection booth.
-They've heard knocking sounds in a closet
-two of the girls have been touched. One was grabbed in one of the theatres.
-They hear whistling, like a person is walking around whistling a tune. They've heard conversations between two different men, and the various voices of men and women alike.
-Cold jets of air will hit you in the smaller theatre.
-the Door handles will push down by themselves as if someone is going out.
-One of the girls witnessed a chair fall over by itself.
- One night, another employee was getting a refill for a boy who came out of the movie. When she turned around, the poor child saw the stapler lift up and hurl over to the employee. She didn't realize it until he, wide eyed and jaw on the floor, told her a second later.
-The Janitor will here voices when he's alone in the building cleaning.
-A popcorn bucket levitated up and down by itself.
-Two random women came into the theatre one night and asked to take pictures and do EVP's.
They, and the girls working there, sat in the big theatre with the lights off.
When they asked the question "Do you like scaring the girls here?" they later heard the recording of a man's voice replied "Sometimes."
-One night, the manager's son was going through the building taking pictures with his camera phone. The manager took the phone and went to take a picture in the projection booth when a white light shot through the phone. She freaked out and dropped it. When she picked it up, all the pictures he had taken were deleted.
- In the Screening Club, there are shadow figures that move in the hallway from the door to the main room.
-The motion sensor paper towel dispensers go off by themselves.
- A couple of nights ago a woman came into the theatre with a friend of on the of the employees. This woman began to start seeing the various spirits, saying she was psychic and could see them and talk to them.
She said there was a man and a woman in the screening club. She scetched out a picture of what the woman looked like. Her description matched that of the teacher who swore she would never come back.
She began asking the girls if they believed in God and that they needed to pray. The poor employee who walked around with her became light headed and wanted to leave.
She did talk about stuff only the employees knew about: A room upstair that has been blocked off. No one can access it, and she says the spirits up there are upset because they are trapped.
She also mentioned the furnace room and that there were men who worked down there, shoveling coal into the furnace, and there were men on the roof.
When she was about to leave, this woman was standing in the doorway of the smaller theatre. One of the employees saw the woman's hair move as if someone had flipped it. The woman turned and said, "He just smacked me in the back of the head and told me to get out."
After she left, the employees felt terrible. They walked around the theatre and apologized to the spirits, telling them they would never let that woman in the theatre again.
They think she stirred the spirits up and ticked them off.
WHEW!
That was a lot of info.
I was there and recorded for about 48 minutes. Around 6 minutes and 46 seconds into the recording, I got a heavy, forced sigh/breath on the recording that doesn't belong to me or the people I was interviewing. That was all I capture EVP-wise....
I just got my shirt for the Ohio State Reformatory investigation on June 14th.
I am so stoked.
Apparently, 5 different paranormal groups are going.
How sweet is that?
I love meeting new people with whom I share a passion.
The next step is coughing up a $70 check to mail to Gene, along with the Ghost Hunting license paper.
Shouldn't be too hard....

Yeah, apparently we have to fill out a license agreement with OSR to be a part of a ghost hunt there in the building.
Strange, but understandable......
