That is a serious capture and on a daytime visit to check further for explainable causes, 4 investigatos had a rusty old butcher knife thrown at them very hard from the back of the basement where no one was. It hit a vent duct right by them and bounced back 10 feet off of that.
I note in this video, an incadesent light is on in the ceiling. It appears that the anomaly is refracting the present light as it fills out more the closer it gets to it an fades when further away. Also, note the surge of energy like a fast blue carpet across the floor as well.
Another intersting note is that where it decended through the 1st floor into the basement is where at one time years ago, a small set of stairs use to be.
This was captured by Tom Halstead of then Missouri Paranormal Research (now a division of Paranormal Task Force) in 2006 at the then Tri-County Truck Stop (formerly the famous Diamonds Restaurant on old Route 66 in Villa Ridge, MO).
This was captured on a digital still camera in video mode after an investigator saw the same anomaly in the Kitchen area right above the location of the capture. The anomaly walked into the middle of a stainless steel prep table then decended through the floor into the basement. After that, others heard a bang from the basement which was locaked down and then went to investigate. This capture was at the end of Tom's recorded segment and his camera was turned off without explanation.
